Fly your Satellite!
Fly Your Satellite! (FYS) is an educational programme for university and other tertiary education student teams from an eligible state that are developing pico- or nanosatellites (PocketQubes or CubeSats) with mainly educational purposes, that want to benefit from ESA support throughout the development of their mission.
Design Booster
The Design Booster programme supports university and other tertiary education student teams developing their own CubeSat or PocketQube missions during the feasibility or preliminary design stage. Through training, dedicated support and reviews by ESA specialists, teams strengthen their systems engineering approach, address key design challenges and mature their satellite design, providing a stronger foundation for the next phases of their mission.
Test Opportunities
Through the Test Opportunities Programme, ESA Academy gives student teams access to dedicated educational test facilities at ESEC-Galaxia. Teams receive tailored training and support to develop their test plans and conduct their test campaigns. Available facilities support vibration, thermal-vacuum, antenna and RF, as well as conducted and radiated electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing.
