ESA is proud to announce that ESERO Estonia has been honoured with the highest education award in the country this year
Every year, Estonia’s Ministry of Education and Research celebrates exceptional educators and education champions at the prestigious Teacher of the Year Gala. This inspiring event shines a spotlight on teams whose dedication—whether over the past three years or an entire career—has driven student growth, strengthened collaboration, and championed innovative learning approaches.
The 2025 awards ceremony took place on October 4, just before International Teachers’ Day, at the Pärnu Concert Hall. Broadcast live by Estonian Public Broadcasting (ETV), the event is now available to watch anytime on ERR Jupiter.
Among the coveted awards is the Education Friend of the Year, recognizing those who build bridges between schools, communities, and businesses while sparking creativity and elevating the value of education across society. This year, the ESERO Estonia team proudly received this prestigious honor—a testament to their unwavering commitment, exceptional quality, and meaningful impact on education over recent years.
Led by the Tartu Observatory and steered and coordinated continuously by ESA and the Estonian Business and Innovation Agency, ESERO Estonia benefits from a strong network of educational and pedagogical experts from key national partners, as well to strong connections with the space sector and academia.
